About the Role

The Operational Scheduler in a Site drives short- and long-term scheduling providing to the shop floor detailed finite schedules, defining and optimizing production/laboratory sequences, releasing orders to production and ensuring materials and capacity availability.
Working in connection with the Production supervisors to ensure the running of the production shifts and batches such that the manufacturing program is achieved efficiently within the framework of regulatory compliance and operating within high standards of GMP, HSE, environmental protection and good working practices.

Your key responsibilities:

• Implementation of Dynamics software for the management of material orders.
• Provide a feasible plan to the shop floor in terms of materials and capacity availability.
• Establish optimized sequence of orders within the 6 weeks plan and keep it up to date, based on rules agreed by Manufacturing, Quality and other support functions and in accordance with Customer requirements.
• Work in full adherence to HSE GMP and other applicable rules and promote improvements.
• Report promptly to HSE QA and supervisor/manager/head any relevant event impacting HSE, GMP, supply aspects.
• Provide the planning status in the daily production meeting.
• Order Management: verify material and documentation availability and release orders to production/laboratory.
• Monitor the production/laboratory progress and communicate changes.
• Participate in the Weekly Cross-functional meeting
• Ensure optimal alignment between production/laboratory scheduling and material planning to avoid potential material write-offs.
• Identify areas of improvement and establish innovative or adjust existing work procedures and practices.

Role Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Scientific Degree
• Must have experience with Dynamics 365
• Preferred experience in the Production/scheduling/planning/logistic department or relevant university degree in the field.
• Excellent organizational (time management, risk management) and communication skills.
• Fluent in Italian and English.
